Kannada Sahitya Sammelana(Kannada Literature Conference) is a gathering of writers and poets of and for Kannadigas. It will not be false to say, it is one of the state festival held once in a year at various places across Karnataka.

Kannada Sahitya Sammelana is held with the aim to preserve and develop Kannada language, literature, art, culture and music. It was started in 1915 which was held at Bangalore.

Held at Bangalore, the event entered 77th Year. The celebration was spread for 3-days to promote and preserve culture of the language 'Kannada'
